Tillie became part of our family in the summer of 2010. She is a black and tan dual, and a sweet, sensitive, submissive, kind-hearted, protective, and loving girl. She has never forgiven our cat, Frannie, for scratching her in the nose when she was a puppy, so Tillie spends many hours guarding her home from that evil cat. It should be noted that everyone else in the house loves Frannie. Tillie also keeps the back yard free of squirrels, raccoons, possum, mice, and who knows what else. She barks them right out of the yard. She allows the birds to visit, however.
Tillie’s sweet nature made her the perfect dog for therapy work. Jim and Tillie are a Pet Partners therapy team. They visited the families at Ronald McDonald House every Monday evening so Tillie can offered kisses and even a few cuddles.
