About Bear:

When we found Bear online after a long search, we fell head over heels in love. After calling, texting, hounding, cajoling, begging and emailing his breeder, he was soon on his way from Pennsylvania to California. Bear was the sweetest, most confident, ball of fluff puppy we’d ever seen. Nothing phased him. He was (and is) an affectionate goof and brilliant at working out any puzzle we put in his path, especially if it stood between him and cuddles. Bear sees the world through love-colored glasses. He’s sure everyone wants his hugs and kisses and he’s ready and willing to oblige. He loves to run hard, play ball and chase but then he’s happy to plop on the sofa to watch TV with the family or hang out with Evelyne while she works. He has just the right balance of energy and couch potato to make him a great family companion. It’s interesting to see how differently he approaches people, adjusting his level of energy to their needs. He roughhouses with our grown kids but is extremely gentle with the babies and elderly people in his life. Love dictates everything he does. Oh yes, and Bear loves Ursa to the moon and back.

About Ursa:

In the summer of 2014, we were at a BBQ with other Shiloh Shepherd owners. Someone brought a litter of puppies to the yard to socialize them. When Ursa ran across the lawn, it was love at first sight. Ursa (who at the time was called “Green Girl”) made her way straight into Cat’s arms and hasn’t left them yet. We should have named her “Shadow”. She follows Cat into every room all day long. Ursa is constantly full of joy. She has unending energy. We joke that she is a Labrador in a Shiloh Shepherd body. The older girls adore her and even though most of our friends and family think we were insane for getting a fourth dog, we can’t imagine life without our happy girl.
